Individual Psychotherapy

Individual therapy is used to address mental health diagnoses and support overall mental and emotional well-being. Sessions are held virtually with a licensed mental health professional and are typically 45-60 minutes each week. Individual therapy clients have full access to all Wild Wellness tools and videos.

Sessions start with an initial assessment to determine needs and suitability for available Wild Wellness therapists.

Currently, due to licensing variations from state to state, we are only able to accept individual therapy clients based in the state of Michigan. We can currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance. For those wishing to use an alternate insurance, we can provide a statement confirming payment that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

For those outside of Michigan without an acute mental health diagnosis, wellness coaching may be right for you!

Individual Wellness Coaching

Wellness coaching is designed for those who want to achieve wellness-related goals and improve their overall well-being. Coaching can also help to address and help build healthy habits to prevent chronic stress, overwhelm, burnout, and the development of mental health diagnoses.

Coaching is a time-limited, goal-focused service. The focus is on helping you change your behavior and reach a particular goal. Different packages are available to help you meet your needs. Learn more about coaching below.

01 — Identify Wellness Goals

Your wellness goals might include physical or emotional changes like eating healthier, lowering stress, getting more exercise, or generally incorporating more emotional wellness practices into day-to-day life. Your wellness coach will help you figure out and operationalize your goals, mutually agreeing on what you are working toward together.

02 — Learn New Strategies for Change

Your wellness coach will consider your goals and work with you to develop new strategies to help you work towards them. Those strategies might revolve around organization, time management, problem solving, and more.

03 — Practice with Accountability

You and your wellness coach will map out a plan together for practicing new strategies to move you towards your goals. Your coach will help keep you moving forward, offering encouragement and strategies to overcome roadblocks and maintain motivation.

04 — Accomplish Your Goals

Work with your coach to make change in your life, becoming a healthier, freer you!

FAQs

  • Reach out directly via our interest form to inquire about individual services. During a brief phone consultation, you and your provider will discuss the appropriate services for your unique situation.

  • Individual psychotherapy is billed at $180.00 per visit. Intake appointments with diagnostic evaluation are $200.00.

    Individual wellness coaching sessions are billed at $40.00 per 15 minutes. Intake coaching sessions are scheduled for 1 hour and are billed at $120.00.

  • Currently, we can accept Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance for individual psychotherapy clients located in Michigan.

    For individual psychotherapy clients in Michigan with another insurance, we can provide you with a statement showing payment for services that can be submitted to your insurance company for direct reimbursement.

    We do not accept insurance for individual coaching.

  • Sessions are held virtually via video conferencing using a HIPAA (the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) compliant software. Your provider will share the join link with you before your session.

    For legal and ethical reasons, individual psychotherapy clients must reside in the state where the provider is licensed, even if session are held virtually.

  • For individual psychotherapy, your first session will involve gaining clarity on your mental health needs, which may include receiving a DSM-5 diagnosis, and identifying your goals for treatment.

    For wellness coaching, your first session will focus on identifying your wellness goals, understanding your motivations for pursuing this goal, and establishing a plan for coaching, such as frequency and length of sessions.

    For both individual psychotherapy and coaching, your provider will send you a link to join your session by video before your visit. Intake sessions are scheduled for 60 minutes.
